EZ-Breathe® Ventilation System

Take Control of Your Home’s Air Quality with Whole-Home Ventilation

Have you been dealing with musty smells in the basement, damp air that never seems to clear out, or rooms that feel stuffy no matter how often you clean? These are often signs of poor indoor air quality, and you may be a great candidate for an EZ-Breathe® ventilation system.

Central Indiana homes are constantly struggling with indoor air pollutants like dust, mold spores, moisture, and stale air that circulate from the basement or crawl space into the rest of the house. Over time, poor indoor air quality can affect everyone and everything in your home—from the air your family breathes to the condition of your belongings. You shouldn’t have to worry about breathing stale air or constantly cleaning surfaces that collect dust and moisture.

The EZ-Breathe system exhausts stale, contaminated air from the lowest level of your home while pulling fresh air in to replace it. This simple air exchange helps improve indoor air quality throughout the entire house and creates a drier, more comfortable environment.

EverDry Waterproofing of Greater Indiana installs EZ-Breathe units in homes across Central and Greater Indiana as part of our basement, crawl space, and foundation waterproofing services. We’d be happy to inspect your home and provide a quote for your EZ-Breathe installation. Enjoy a home that smells clean and feels healthier with EverDry and EZ-Breathe!

Who Needs EZ-Breathe Installed in Their Home?

Many people are surprised to learn that due to indoor air pollution, the air inside your home can actually be two to five times more polluted than the air outside, according to the EPA. Moisture entering through basements or crawl spaces, the products we use every day, and Indiana’s changing seasons can all contribute to poor indoor air quality.

When air gets trapped indoors, it can lead to stagnant air, lingering contaminants, and unhealthy conditions throughout the house. If you’re noticing these issues in your Greater Indiana home, let’s talk about what an EZ-Breathe unit can do for you:

  • You notice musty smells coming from the basement, crawl space, or lower level that seem to drift through the rest of the house.
  • The air in your home feels heavy with stale air, especially in lower levels or rooms that don’t get much airflow.
  • You constantly find pet hair, dust, and particles settling on surfaces like furniture, floors, and shelves not long after cleaning.
  • You see signs of mildew growth on basement walls, stored items, or in damp corners of the home.
  • Some rooms feel stuffy because of poor air circulation, making the home feel uncomfortable even when your HVAC system is running.
  • Family members deal with frequent allergy symptoms like sneezing, congestion, or itchy eyes while spending time indoors.
  • You notice breathing discomfort or worsening respiratory issues when spending extended time inside the home.
  • Certain seasons make the air feel damp and humid, while others leave the house feeling overly dry and uncomfortable.

With proper ventilation, your home can maintain healthier air movement that improves and supports your family’s overall well-being. The EZ-Breathe system helps address moisture, reduce musty odors, and limit conditions that lead to household mold. It can also provide relief for those dealing with allergy symptoms or asthma by improving the air circulating throughout the home.

At EverDry Waterproofing of Greater Indiana, we’ve installed hundreds of these systems—contact us today to learn more about installing an EZ-Breathe ventilation system in Central Indiana.

How the EZ-Breathe Ventilation System Works

EZ-Breathe is an innovative system designed to improve the air environment in homes and deliver numerous benefits for comfort and health. It removes stale, moisture-filled air from the lowest part of the home and creates steady air movement throughout the house. Because moisture and air quality problems often start below ground level, it’s an important part of crawl space waterproofing, basement waterproofing, and crawl space encapsulation systems.

Here’s more about what an EZ-Breathe installation looks like and how it works.

Whole-Home Air Circulation

Many homeowners try to solve basement air problems with dehumidifiers or fans, but those only treat the air in one room. The EZ-Breathe system works differently by creating continuous air flow throughout the home. Installed in the lowest level, it removes contaminated air that builds up in basements or crawl spaces and replaces it with fresh outdoor air.

This process creates increased air exchanges that circulate clean air through the entire house—including living areas upstairs. Instead of simply drying one space, the system helps improve the air conditions throughout your whole home.

Strategic Placement in Basements and Crawl Spaces

An EZ-Breathe ventilation system is typically placed in the basement or crawl space where humidity and air quality problems often originate. As a basement ventilation system, it helps remove stale air and humidity before those conditions move through the house.

The unit can also function as a crawl space ventilation system, helping pull damp air out from beneath the home. By targeting the lowest level, it helps address excess moisture that can lead to musty conditions. This makes it an effective companion to waterproofing and encapsulation systems.

Low-Maintenance Ventilation for Cleaner Air

EZ-Breathe is designed to run quietly and efficiently with very little homeowner upkeep. The unit includes a built-in humidistat that automatically adjusts fan speed to changing moisture levels, helping manage humidity without constant adjustments. It uses only about 40 watts of power, making it a very energy-efficient and cost-effective way to ventilate your home.

During summer, it helps remove humid air and excess moisture from the lower levels of the house. In winter, it reduces condensation and keeps air moving so your home stays more comfortable year-round.

Once the EZ-Breathe system is installed, you’ll barely notice it’s there—but you’ll feel the difference throughout your home. Contact EverDry Waterproofing of Greater Indiana for a quote on an EZ-Breathe ventilation system in Greater Indiana today.

I chose the “ultimate” package to waterproof my basement. I had water issues for years which resulted in my foundation settling and cracked basement walls and mold and mildew. Everdry installed their “Stable Wall” system over the cracks in my walls to stabilize them. They also installed their EZ Breathe system. This has resulted in a complete change in the air quality of my entire home. I no longer have the musty and moldy smells! The crews were amazing. They worked hard and were professional. The entire job was completed in 2 days. The lifetime transferable warranty was also a big plus. It has been a year and no water in my basement. I no longer have “panic attacks” when it rains.

We used their service 6 years ago for waterproofing our basement due to a creek in our backyard. Any issue we had with install was taken care of immediately. We have had no problem since! Their customer service is helpful and professional as was their salesman. We have highly recommended them to others who have, in fact, used them as well! Very thankful we found Everdry for our waterproofing needs!
